ATTRACTIONS:

Will is a HUGE fan of history and site seeing. Here are a few great places to check out:

-> The Funk Zone: Located near lower State Street and Santa Barbara’s waterfront, The Funk Zone is one of Santa Barbara’s most vibrant and evolving neighborhoods, and is our personal favorite. It's home to some of the city’s best restaurants, wine tasting rooms, breweries, boutiques, creative collectives, galleries, hotels and more.

-> Old Mission Santa Barbara: This historic church is the city's most iconic landmark. It's worth a visit to get to know the history of this Spanish Missionary Colonial City.

-> Santa Barbara County Courthouse: This beautiful public building in downtown SB has some of the most stunning panoramic views of the city.

-> Waterfront Harbors: Sterns Wharf and Santa Barbara Harbor are both great areas to walk around, kayak, paddleboard, and/or grab a bite to eat.

WATER ACTIVITIES:

Being in the water and at the beach is where we are the happiest. We hope all of you will get to enjoy the beautiful California Coast and Pacific Ocean while you're here!

-> Beaches: East Beach, Leadbetter Beach, and Butterfly Beach (Montecito) are some of the most iconic beaches in Santa Barbara.

-> Boating/Sailing: Book a sunset cruise or dolphin tour on the Double Dolphin or a water taxi in Sterns Wharf for a smaller time commitment.

-> Paddle Boarding/Surfing/Kayaking: Learn how to surf, rent paddle boards or kayaks, whatever it takes to get you in the water. Rentals here through Cal Coast Adventures.

OTHER:

-> Hiking: Inspiration Point, Tangerine Falls, and Cold Springs Trail Hikes are some of the popular hikes in the area

SANTA BARBARA

Carpinteria is a small oceanside city located in southeastern Santa Barbara County. The beaches here are considered by locals to be even nicer than their more famous Santa Barbara counterparts. The sand is wider, the crowd is more relaxed, and the surf is legendary, especially at Rincon Beach.

FOOD & DRINK:

-> Lucky Llama Coffee House - Our FAVORITE place to grab coffee or an acai bowl whenever we are in the area. They even have live music on the weekends.

-> Padaro Beach Grill - Oceanside American eatery & bar with seating indoors, on a patio or on the grass, picnic-style. It's located right next door to the Rincon Beach Club (wedding reception venue), so could be a great place to hang out and grab a drink before the wedding ceremony starts.

-> Island Brewing Company - brewery with delicious beers and a giant ring toss.

-> The Spot - unassuming eatery that's been serving tasty burgers and milkshakes for over 90 years.

-> Reynaldo's European & Mexican Bakery - portable and delicious Mexican food and baked goods

-> Teddy's By The Sea - Seafood and tropical cocktails

-> Nutbelly Pizzeria & Deli
